Hidden Gems of Jewish Genealogy
Presented by Marlis Glaser Humphrey
Discover the hidden gems of Jewish genealogy – great resources that are not widely known. Explore the latest trends in Jewish genealogy to know where the latest hidden gems are being developed. Hear what is becoming available due to partnering, crowd sourcing, digitization; the growing acceptance of DNA testing; the “I am a cousin” movement; the shift from genealogy to family stories; the push for academics; the challenges of records preservation and access; standards development; and new technologies that are being applied to both discovery and sharing of our genealogy.
