Hamilton is known as the City of Waterfalls because of our many beautiful natural areas that feature waterfalls. Nestled into the Niagara Escarpment, this area has many hiking trails and breathtaking view points from which to see across the Dundas Valley, the Escarpment, Lake Ontario, and more. The famous Bruce Trail (which stretches 1000 km from Niagara to Tobermory) runs right through our area. If you are interested in exploring some of the trails, Wendy Guest (who is a lifelong member of Hamilton’s Jewish community) has offered to accompany you and show you some of Hamilton’s best-hidden treasures.
