JDC (American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee)

Commonly known as "The Joint." It is one of the world's leading Jewish humanitarian organizations, providing critical aid, emergency relief, and long-term development assistance to Jewish communities and others in need around the world. Founded in 1914, JDC operates in over 70 countries, addressing poverty, hunger, healthcare, and education challenges faced by vulnerable populations, including Jews in distress. The organization also supports Jewish cultural and community development, promotes Jewish heritage preservation, and facilitates global Jewish connections and solidarity.
