Established in 1993, Federation’s Holocaust Education Committee is committed to preserving the memories and legacies of the past to ensure that the lessons of the Holocaust will never be forgotten or repeated.
The Holocaust Education Committee sponsors lectures, films, Shoah as a platform for teaching tolerance. Our programs reach a multi-ethnic and multi-religious audience, fostering respect and social harmony in an effort to build a more peaceful and tolerant world.

Hamilton Jewish Federation’s inaugural international conference on antisemitism aims to bring together people of all ages, from all communities and ethnic and cultural groups to learn and to dialogue. Students, educators and community advocates, as well as unaffiliated community members, are invited to attend in the conference.
