PJ Library & PJ Our Way

PJ Library® is a unique program that encourages Jewish families with young children to explore Jewish literature. The PJ Library program offers the gift of free, high-quality Jewish books and music each month to children ages 6 months through 9 years. PJ Library books celebrate important aspects of Jewish culture, values, and tradition and become cherished bedtime stories.

PJ Our Way is for kids ages 9-12. It is kid-driven--they choose their own books, creating a totally tailored experience based their own interests and reading level. To make the choice easier, their website includes summaries and author bios, along with ratings, reviews, and video trailers created by members themselves. Kids can also take polls and quizzes, participate in monthly interviews and challenges, post their own reviews, and comment on blog posts.

Margaret's Legacy Holocaust Education

Margaret's Legacy was established to provide quality Holocaust education that breeds tolerance, inspires hope, and nurtures healthy dialogue by using the micro-history of Margaret and Arthur Weisz as a springboard.

We are proud to announce the opening of the Margaret's Legacy Holocaust Learning Centre in Spring 2024. The centre will host the recently donated “Harriet Smiley Memorial Holocaust Collection" which will belong to the permanent exhibit. Thanks to the partnership with the Yad Vashem International School of Holocaust Education Studies, we will have the opportunity to hold temporary exhibits and a new curriculum to further enhance the experiences of our visitors.

The centre will serve as a hub for students, teachers, and the general public to receive Holocaust education and teacher training. This centre will bring to life the dreams and aspirations of Margaret's Legacy and further strengthen our commitment to education and remembrance.

With a strong dedication to research and education, Margaret's Legacy continues to expland its resources and reach people in profound ways.
